Thomas W. Cahill - Obituary
SOUTH ORANGE, N. J., Oct 1 -- Thomas W. Cahill, a founder of the United States Soccer Association and former manager of United States Olympic soccer teams, died on Saturday at a nursing home in Bloomfield. His age was 85. He resided here at 163 Garfield Place.
Mr. Cahill was instrumental in introducing soccer in colleges and secondary schools and in organizing semi-professional soccer leagues throughout the country.
