Board of Trustees, Village of South Orange, New Jersey
Gentlemen,
The South Orange Woman's Club takes this opportunity to protest the ranting of a license to conduct a tavern at the corner of Riggs Plae and Irvington Avenue. The reason for this action is: the corner is now a more or less dangerous one and the presence of a tavern or open saloon where intoxicating liquor could be consumed on the premises would tend to increase the unsafety.
